This is supposed to be Hermia from A Midsummer Night's Dream, while the two men are bewitched to love Helena and not her, hence the dramatic pose! It's a kind of practice run before I do a really large scale one of all four lovers. I took the basic pose and expression from a photo I found of May Wray (star of the original King Kong) and then took her out of her silly 'damsel in distress after being kidnapped by a giant gorilla' outfit and put her in my own interpretation of a Grecian dress, and made her a brunette (which wasn't hard considering the photo was black and white). I'm going to put the woods in the background, since that's where almost the whole play takes place, and make it quite dark, but dramatic, not gloomy. Any suggestions welcome!
